Our Open house is
just two weeks away.
It was critical
for me to find a Japanese restaurant where Japanese native speakers serve.
I needed to find a restaurant where
the event attendees can try fieldwork. This
means that I need a restaurant that has servers who are native Japanese
speakers and who can have conversations with the event attendees, which could
make their practice real and fun.
I live in Tokyo
but I needed one in Richmond I have never been.
I had thought it
could have been easy because I have my son in Richmond, who could be my handy intelligent
agent.
However, it did
not go as I had expected.
Oh, my god! My son got busy and tired with his very new studies
at his high school and had no energy or time to search for anything for the
event. It was something I did not expect.
When I noticed it,
I went to panic. I did not know what to
do. Anyway, I needed to find a
restaurant. Oh, my god!

My Chinese
Canadian friends and my club members helped me!
After a nanosecond
(Yes, NANO) I sent a message asking whether any of them knew any nice Japanese
restaurant with Japanese-speaking servers, many replied to me with a lot of information.
Amazing people!!
Thank you, everyone!
Gathering them, I picked up
Ichiro restaurant and contacted them.
They kindly told me that they will welcome our event guests who will be ordering
with the newly learned Japanese language there.
The most challenging
part of the project has been set, now!
